Optional monthly service

Website Care

From $99 /month

Calm, scheduled upkeep after launch: monitoring, updates where they apply, form checks and a small monthly allowance for content changes.

  • Website Care is optional and separate from your website build.
  • Unused content-change time does not roll over to the next month.
  • Static sites need far fewer software updates than WordPress sites. We explain exactly what applies to yours.

The monthly checklist

What we look after each month.

The exact checks depend on how your site is built and hosted. We agree on them up front and tell you what was done.

Every month

  • Test your contact or quote form end to end
  • Run a website health check and note anything that needs attention
  • Confirm your security certificate (HTTPS) and domain are in good standing
  • Make up to 30 minutes of minor content changes you request

Ongoing

  • Uptime monitoring with alerts if the site stops responding
  • Hosting oversight or management, as agreed for your setup

Where your platform needs it

  • Apply software, theme and plugin updates, and check the site afterward
  • Confirm backups are running, where your hosting supports them

Know what you’re paying for

Keeping things running vs. changing content.

Care has two parts. Upkeep happens in the background. Your content allowance is for the small changes you ask for.

Upkeep

Background work that keeps the site healthy.

  • Updates where your platform needs them
  • Backups where supported
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Form tests and a monthly health check

Content allowance

Up to 30 minutes of minor changes each month.

  • Update text, hours or prices
  • Swap or add a photo
  • Add a review you have permission to use
  • Small layout tweaks on existing pages

Unused time does not roll over.

Not included

Bigger jobs we quote separately, so your plan stays affordable.

  • Redesigns or new page builds
  • New features or custom development
  • Unlimited edits
  • Premium plugins, email services and other third-party subscriptions

Support requests

Asking for a change is simple.

No ticketing system to learn. We agree on one simple channel during onboarding, usually email.

  1. Step 1

    Send your request

Describe the change in a sentence or two and attach any text or photos.

  2. Step 2

    We confirm the scope

If it fits your monthly allowance, we say so. If it’s bigger, we quote it first.

  3. Step 3

    We make the change

Changes are checked on mobile and desktop before they go live.

  4. Step 4

    You get a note

A short message confirms what changed, so nothing happens silently.

Honest differences

Static sites and WordPress need different care.

Not every website needs the same maintenance. We explain what applies to yours, so you don’t pay for work your site doesn’t need.

Static websites

Pages are built ahead of time, so there’s no database or plugins to patch. Care focuses on hosting oversight, form tests, certificate and domain checks, and your content changes.

Usually less upkeep, often faster to load.

WordPress websites

WordPress core, themes and plugins release updates regularly, and some fix security issues. Care includes applying updates, checking the site afterward and confirming backups before major changes.

More flexible for editing, more moving parts to maintain.

Your website stays yours.

Care is a service, not a lock-in. Your domain, hosting and content are set up in your own accounts wherever possible. If you stop Website Care, we help hand over access so you, or another provider, can carry on. See how care fits alongside a website build on our pricing page.

FAQ

Website care questions

Straight answers before you commit to anything.

Can I cancel Website Care?

Website Care is proposed as a month-to-month service, so you are not locked into a long contract. Your written agreement states the exact notice period before you sign up.

What counts as a “minor content change”?

Things like updating text, hours or prices, swapping a photo, or adding a review you have permission to use. New pages, new features and redesigns are bigger jobs, so we quote them separately.

What happens to unused time?

The 30-minute monthly allowance does not roll over. That keeps the plan simple and the price low.

Are hosting and domain costs included?

It depends on your setup. Website Care covers oversight or management of hosting as agreed for your site, while third-party costs such as domain renewals or premium software are paid to those providers. Your quote lists every outside cost so nothing is hidden.

Can you guarantee my website will never go down or get hacked?

No one can honestly promise that. Care reduces the risk with monitoring, updates where they apply and backups where your setup supports them, and if something does go wrong we work with you to fix it.

Will you look after a website you did not build?

Often, yes. We start with a review to make sure the site is in a maintainable state. If something needs repairing first, we quote that separately before care begins.

How do I ask for a change?

During onboarding we agree on a simple way to send requests, usually email. We confirm what we will change, complete it within your monthly allowance, and let you know when it is done.

Hand off the upkeep. Keep the peace of mind.

Tell us about your website and how it’s hosted. We’ll confirm which checks apply and what your plan would cost before you commit.
