Terms of Service
These terms explain how SiteVeya works with clients and how you may use this website. We've written them in plain English so you know what to expect before any work begins.

1. About these terms
SiteVeya is operated by Review required: add the legal name of the person or registered business that operates SiteVeya. Do not publish a business name that has not been registered. In these terms, "SiteVeya," "we" and "us" mean that operator, and "you" means the person or business using this website or our services.
These terms apply when you use this website and when you hire us for a project or an ongoing service. Each project also has a written quote. If your written quote and these terms disagree, the quote applies to that project.
Review required: add a mailing address for legal notices, or confirm how formal notices should be sent (for example, by email to a named address).
2. Using this website
The content on this website is general information about our services. It is not legal, financial or technical advice for your specific situation. Prices on this website are starting points, not quotes.
Please don't misuse the website or its forms. That includes sending spam, attempting to break or overload the site, submitting malicious code, or using someone else's details without permission. Unless we say otherwise, the text, design and graphics on this website belong to SiteVeya, and the sample website designs shown on it are concepts, not client projects.
3. Quotes and written scope
Every project starts with a written quote. It lists what we will deliver, the price, what is not included, who provides the page copy and photos, and an estimated schedule. Work begins only after you approve the quote.
Our published starting prices are:
- Starter Business Website: From $499 one time
- Website Redesign: Quote from $499
- Website Repairs: From $199 one time, confirmed after we inspect the site
- Website Care: From $99/month, optional and separate from any build
- Lead Follow-up Automation: From $299 setup, with optional automation monitoring from $49/month
A starting price is not a quote. Your final price depends on the scope we agree in writing, and it changes only if you approve a change. Review required: state how long a written quote stays valid.
4. Deposits and payment
Payment terms, including whether a deposit is required, are set out on your quote before work begins. We will not start work or begin any recurring charge without your written approval, and we never pre-select a subscription for you.
Review required: confirm whether a deposit is required and how much, accepted payment methods, invoice due dates, and what happens if a payment is late.
5. Project changes
Our work covers what your quote lists. If you would like something new after approving the quote, such as extra pages, new features or a different direction, we will explain how it affects the price and timeline and get your written approval before doing the extra work. You are never billed for changes you did not approve.
6. Your content and permissions
You are responsible for the content you give us to publish, including text, photos, logos, reviews and business claims. By sending it, you confirm that:
- it is accurate, and you have the right to use it on your website;
- any reviews or testimonials are genuine and used with the customer's permission;
- any claims about licensing, insurance, certifications or guarantees are true for your business.
We may suggest edits for clarity, but you approve the final content before launch. We use only the content you supply or approve, plus images or fonts that are properly licensed for your project.
7. Design direction and revisions
The Starter Business Website package includes one design direction and one consolidated round of revisions. "Consolidated" means you gather all of your feedback into a single list, and we make those changes together. Additional revision rounds or a second design direction can be added, and we will quote them before starting. Other projects include the revisions stated on their quote.
8. Timelines and delivery
Timelines depend mostly on how quickly we receive content, account access and feedback, and on the agreed scope. We will give you an estimated schedule with your quote and keep you updated if it changes. Unless your quote states a firm deadline, launch dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Review required: decide what happens when a project is paused for a long time while waiting on client content or feedback (for example, rescheduling, a restart fee, or closing out the project).
9. Third-party services and charges
Some costs are charged by other companies and are not included in our prices unless your quote says so:
- domain registration and renewals;
- hosting plans, where hosting is not part of your agreement with us;
- premium themes, plugins, fonts and stock photography licenses;
- email, text-message (SMS), CRM and other software or API usage fees.
Where possible, we set up these accounts in your name so you stay in control. Third-party services have their own terms and prices, which they may change. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes or price changes, but we will help you understand the options if something changes.
10. Website Care plans
Website Care is an optional monthly service, from $99/month. It is separate from your website build. Depending on your plan and platform, it can include:
- Hosting oversight or management, as agreed for your setup
- Software, theme and plugin updates where your platform needs them
- Uptime monitoring and a regular contact-form test
- Backups where your hosting setup supports them
- A monthly website health check
- Up to 30 minutes of minor content changes each month
Unused content-change time does not roll over to the next month. Redesigns, new pages, new features and custom development are not included and are quoted separately. Updates, backups and monitoring apply only where they make sense for your platform. A simple static website needs far fewer software updates than a WordPress website, and we will explain what applies to yours.
Website Care reduces risk, but it cannot guarantee that a website will never go down, break or be attacked. If something goes wrong, we will tell you and work with you to fix it within the scope of your plan.
Website Care is offered month to month. When it ends, we will help hand over any logins, files and accounts that belong to you. Review required: state the notice needed to cancel Website Care and when the final charge applies.
11. Lead follow-up automation
Lead Follow-up Automation is quoted for your tools and needs, from $299 setup. Optional automation monitoring is available from $49/month. Email, SMS, CRM and API fees are billed by those providers and are not included.
You are responsible for having the consent required to contact people through any automation, especially by text message, and for following the messaging laws that apply to your business. Automations rely on third-party services that can change or fail, so we recommend checking your inquiries regularly rather than relying on automation alone.
12. Free website audits
A free website audit is a manual review by a person of the public website you give us. It may cover mobile usability, obvious form or contact problems, content clarity, basic speed observations and major on-page SEO basics.
The audit is a set of observations and suggestions. It is not a full technical, security, accessibility or legal compliance audit, and it does not guarantee any result. We do not log in to your website or test it for security weaknesses. There is no obligation to buy anything, and we may decline or pause audit requests when we don't have capacity.
13. Ownership and intellectual property
Once your project is paid in full, you own the content you supplied and the final website design and files we created specifically for your project. Your domain name should always be registered in your name.
Some parts of a website are owned by others and licensed for use, such as open-source code, frameworks, licensed fonts, themes, plugins and stock images. Those remain subject to their own licenses. We also keep the general tools, techniques and reusable components we use across projects, and you may use them as part of your website.
We will only show your website in our portfolio or name you as a client with your permission.
Review required: have a lawyer confirm the ownership transfer and license wording, including what happens to unpaid work.
14. Cancellations and refunds
If you need to cancel a project, please tell us in writing. How cancellations and refunds work, including for any deposit and for work already completed, will be set out in your quote.
Review required: set the cancellation and refund policy for projects, deposits and partially completed work.
15. No guaranteed rankings or results
We build websites to be clear, fast and easy to contact, with sensible on-page SEO basics. We cannot guarantee search rankings, traffic, inquiries, sales or any other business result. Search engines decide rankings, and results also depend on factors outside our control, such as your market, competition, reviews and content.
16. Service availability
We aim to respond promptly during normal business hours, but we do not offer round-the-clock support. We do not guarantee that this website, your website or any hosting provider will be available without interruption. Hosting and other providers may carry out maintenance or experience outages that are outside our control.
17. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Except for what your written quote states, we do not make other promises about our services or results.
Review required: a lawyer should draft the limitation of liability and warranty disclaimer for your business and the jurisdiction you operate in.
18. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, please tell us first. Most problems can be solved quickly with a direct conversation, and we will work in good faith to resolve any concern.
Review required: state the governing law and where any legal dispute would be heard.
Review required: describe the dispute process (for example, informal discussion first, then mediation or the agreed court).
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect a project you have already approved unless you agree to them in writing.
20. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact form. Review required: add a monitored business email address for questions and notices once one is live.
